Mentor Me: Changing Lives!

Mentor Me is a nonprofit organization that recognizes students who are struggling with academic success and challenges in their social life. Those challenges may include mental and behavioral health issues and challenges from family members such as unemployment, incarceration, and drug use.

CCE's 10 Year Anniversary Party

Boo! On the scariest day of the year the CCE reached a great milestone and threw a huge celebration for it's 10 year anniversary. The CCE took over a large part of the bottom floor of the library where attendents enjoyed delicious treats and fun activities.

I'm glad I got to attend Los Cien's "4th Annual State of the Latino Community in Sonoma County" at Sonoma State University. I learned of many organizations in our area and put a human face to those groups.

Engineering Student Helps Fire Victims

As more than a dozen wildfires burned through large swaths of land in Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, Lake, and Yuba counties, many of SSU students have been doing their part to help their communities. Among them, EE graduate student Mohammed Ibrahim is definitely noteworthy.
