Thank you for all you do in educating our students and collaborating with our faculty!

Your interest in community engagement and our office is what drives us to help you as best we can. The CCE helps community partners develop relationships with faculty and access Sonoma State's resources. At SSU, we depend on our community partners to teach our students things they can't learn in the classroom alone. Community partners must be nonprofit or governmental organizations as community-engaged activities are generally unpaid. We focus on Academic Affairs, which includes faculty and students, but we can help you with anything else! If you have any questions, please reach out to cce@sonoma.edu.

Additionally, the CCE has strategic priorities in diversity/educating for multicultural competence and sustainability.

If you are a nonprofit or governmental agency that does not work with diverse populations or on sustainability issues and want to collaborate with us, please do not hesitate to contact cce@sonoma.edu as your priorities might be a perfect match for a faculty member.

If you are a for-profit organization looking to collaborate with the University for internships, please directly contact the Academic Department you are interested in working with.
