"I learned the definitions of service-learning; I was impressed that service-learning was just a small part of the larger picture," says one faculty participant.

"It just amazes me every time how they've come up with these really great projects and integrated the service part with academics and then they're doing this with students who are five to thirteen years old and just their enthusiasm with doing the project.
