
Faculty, staff, administrators, and students gathered to learn more about the Sustainable City Year Program from it's founder and co-director, Nico Larco, an Associate Professor of Architecture at the University of Oregon.

I had an absolute blast doing my service-learning project with Gold Ridge Preschool! Originally, I expected this project to really only be an assignment I would do for class and that be the end.

Unfortunately in America, thousands of fillers, chemicals, and ingredients that are associated with major health problems are still used by our food industry.

"This year we had more students interested in volunteering and getting involved compared with last year.

I attended the North Bay Organizing Project's 6th Annual Meeting. This meeting emphasized voting as one of the main ways to get the community's voice heard. As there are local government re/elections and 17 state-wide ballot measures, this is an important election year.

Here in California, we have the opportunity to vote on more propositions than anywhere else in the country.

In addition to the state-wide California ballot propositions, there are also county-wide and city-wide measures being proposed in Sonoma County.
