Since the October 2017 fires, Sonoma State has worked closely with community and civic organizations in the North Bay to support resilience and rebuilding. As the area’s state university, we take our role as regional resource seriously. We continue to host community gatherings, meetings with civic leaders and assistance providers, and invited speakers. We run workshops to connect community partners with faculty and students who can offer expertise and support for community projects. We are committed to long-term support for Sonoma County’s recovery and for building community.
